Medical Receptionist

**Experienced Medical Receptionist, Southern Suburbs Cape Town**

A Cardiology Practice based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, is seeking to recruit an experienced medical receptionist with knowledge of the private medical practice environment

**Requirements**:

- Manage the switchboard
- Attend to patient appointments
- Receive patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Capture patient information and scan and file documentation accordingly
- Petty cash management
- Theatre booking co-ordination and liaison with theatre patients regarding process, protocols and theatre times
- Work closely with the practice manager and attend to her duties when she is on leave
- Assist patients with the completion of pathology and radiology forms
- Various administrative tasks
- Any adhoc tasks**Qualification**:

- Grade 12 qualification
- Medical reception experience is essential
- Working experience in a previous medical field and knowledge of Vericlaim will be an advantage
- Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Must be able to multitask

**Working hours**:
Monday to Thursday, 08h00 - 17h00

Friday, 08h00 - 13h00
