We are seeking an experienced and driven Product Portfolio Manager who will be responsible for driving internal sales and product processes to achieve ambitious targets. As a bridge between the internal brand team, sales organisation, and vendor partners, you will provide product support, manage pricing and positioning, assist sales teams, and liaise with suppliers. To succeed, you will need a minimum of 5 years of product management experience, strong IT distribution knowledge, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - **Product Strategy and Support**:

- Align product strategies and policies with the Company's goals.
- Provide comprehensive product support, including technical specifications, web information, sales assistance, and customer support.
- Generate and analyse reports to track product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure effective product positioning and pricing.
- **Sales and Order Management**:

- Assist sales staff in creating accurate quotations and managing product codes, pricelists, and costing.
- Maintain up-to-date pricelists on internal systems.
- Drive sales and manage stock levels strategically.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to sales teams.
- Process sales orders and purchase orders on the ERP system.
- Manage rebates and incentives received from suppliers.
- **Product Knowledge and Training**:

- Stay informed about market trends and product developments.
- Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of product knowledge and technology roadmaps.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and incorporate them into stock forecasting.
- Provide excellent customer service and support.

**Requirements**:

- Matric with mathematics.
- Tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on Distribution.
- Strong understanding of the IT market and its specific segments.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
