Risk Officer

Our client is seeking a **Risk Officer** to be based in the southern suburbs of Cape Town for an old age home - frail care.

**Duties include the following, but not limited to**
- Safety and security of all Residents, Staff, Visitors, Contractors, Suppliers, and all Building Management Systems (BMS) while on duty to minimize risks and to prevent emergencies.
- Coordinate emergency procedures and utilize equipment, men according to procedures while the Receptionist deals with telephones and walk-in clients.
- Keeping observation and activity log.
- Access control
- Monitoring building management systems (nurse call system, camera system, fire alarm system, PA system, IT systems and printers, water system and stop taps, pest control and hygiene system, key control, day and night emergency lights)
- Activation of all emergency procedures
- Health and Safety
- Reports and documents
- General responsibilities

**Requirements**:

- Matric and relevant experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in this environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent English and **Afrikaans** communication skills
- Must be prepared to work shifts, shifts are 12 hours, either day or night shift
- Friendly, helpful, team player

**Salary**:R6 000 CTC per month**
