Crusher Technician

Expert in-house support and skills transfer.
- Equipment troubleshooting, inspections and maintenance on Mobile and fixed Crushers.
- Electric and Electronic fault finding, rewiring and harness assembly on Crushers, Yellow plant and Drill rigs.
- Develop, modify, construct and install related equipment required for the safe operation of all engineering equipment.
- Evaluation and training of operational personnel and assist with correct and efficient use of equipment.
- Arrange and attend to planned Crusher strip down, measuring and review of internal wear mechanisms and exchange of wear parts.
- Ensure units are operating within OEM limits by Identify abnormalities.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor manager.
- Travel to various sites and work overtime as required

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 certificate (preferably Technical)
- 5 - 10 years of experience as a heavy mobile equipment mechanic on surface mine site
- Valid driver’s license
- Millwright Trade Certificate.
- Fitter trade certificate (will be an advantage).
- Ability to troubleshoot engine, transmission and hydraulic and electrical issues.
- Analytical thinker with auto-electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Skill in repair and maintenance of Symons, Sandvic, Metso HP cones, Metso and Osborn Jaws.
