**Job Advert Summary**:
As the Lead: Reward & Benefits you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of remuneration strategy, practices, programmes, and policies. You will provide advice and consulting services to the business on all Total Rewards, Remuneration and Wellness related issues.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Compensation**

Supports Remuneration Committee with appropriate information on the rewards policy.

Compile reports for REMCO on annual salary reviews, incentive payments, and new remuneration policy proposals

Manages the full process, start to end and systems, involved in preparing annual performance bonuses - providing data and costings.

Review remuneration proposals for job offers.

Identify and escalate remuneration gaps

Develop and maintain pay scales

Ensure participation in relevant market surveys, analyse data and advise business of trends

***Analyses results of salary surveys and makes recommendations on market adjustments.

Conduct market benchmarks for key executive roles on an annual basis.

Analyse internal remuneration and benefits data and make proposal on addressing identified gaps and issues

Makes recommendations and provides data and analyses for bargaining mandates.

**Incentives**

Benchmark and review the effectiveness of existing Short-Term Incentive Schemes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Benchmark and review the effectiveness of existing Long-Term Incentive Schemes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Develop policies for both Short-Term and Long-Term Incentive Schemes and communicate to the business.

Provides input in the design of STI and LTI schemes.

**Benefits**

Manage administration of employee benefit schemes. Design and manage communication of employee benefits to ensure that their true value is appreciated by employees. Manage employee benefit providers within Service Level Agreements.

**Job Evaluation**

Providing direction to the organisation relating to Job Evaluation systems and best practice. Sets the objectives and methodology for the job analysis initiative in line with organisational design principles.

Conducts evaluations and manages the Job Grading process - implement and maintain the policy and process. Alignment of remuneration and benefits to grades.

**Wellness**

Proactively sources relevant Wellbeing initiatives and programs to address current trends and needs.

Successfully implements wellbeing initiatives.

Tracks and monitors wellbeing of employees, and effectiveness of initiatives.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Degree and GRP (Global Remuneration Practitioner)

7 - 12 years relevant experience

Experience in Incentives scheme sign and implementation

Experience in Job Grading

Experience: Reward, Compensation, Benefits Wellness

Experience in a FMCG, Retail industry

Advanced Excel, Medical Aid and Pension Fund knowledge
