**The purpose of this role**:
- Planning and scoping of investigation assignments as per brief from the Manager on all requested investigation assignments
- Completion of the file covers for purposes of registering investigation assignments
- Gathering of evidence.
- Collate and analyse the evidence secured.
- Preparation of investigation report.
- Resolution of fraud, corruption and other related irregularities.
- General assignments related responsibilities.
**Main duties and responsibilities**:
- Work effectively within time frame and budget requirements of assignments.
- Develop an understanding of the procedures and systems of the organisation and its operations.
- Interact with all relevant parties in a professional manner when conducting investigation activities such as interviews, searches and consultations.
- Ensure the confidentiality of information related to the entire investigation and resolution processes.
- To assist management in daily activities and follow basic forensic procedures on all assignments
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:
- A post graduate (BCom/LLB) degree or diploma in forensic accounting/investigations
**Work experience**:
- Investigator experience 2+ years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
