Job Title:
**Lease Administrator**

**Job Summary**:
The Lease Administrator is responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining all lease-related activities for the organization. This includes overseeing lease negotiations, rent collection, lease renewals, and managing lease documentation. The Lease Administrator will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and be able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate lease administration for all properties owned or leased by the organization
- Review and analyze lease agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
- Serve as the main point of contact for all landlord and tenant lease-related inquiries
- Oversee rent and lease payment processing, including rent collection and reconciliation
- Prepare and maintain accurate lease documentation, including lease abstracts and amendments
- Conduct regular property inspections and maintain lease compliance reports
- Process lease renewals and negotiate lease terms and conditions with landlords
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure lease agreements are valid and optimize lease contract terms
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as accounting and finance, to ensure accurate and timely lease reporting
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in lease administration

**Skills required**:
Typing, computer literacy (Advanced MS Office, Contract Creation & Procurement system), Nicor & SAP; Telephone skills, Administration, Organisational skills.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. 3 years relevant experience, directly interfacing with clients and providing general administrative support services. A secretarial or PRO diploma would be a recommendation.
