**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Team Management**:
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 6 food service assistants to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Schedule staff shifts, taking into consideration the busy days (Wednesday and Sunday) and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.

**Service Excellence**:
Maintain a high standard of service at all times, ensuring residents receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service.

Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

**Operational Oversight**:
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining quality and consistency.

Oversee the seating arrangements and manage reservations to maximize seating capacity while ensuring a comfortable dining experience for residents.

Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage and handling of food items.

**Quality Control**:
Conduct regular inspections of food presentation, portion sizes, and overall quality to ensure adherence to established standards.

Address any issues or discrepancies promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

**Communication and Collaboration**:
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, teamwork, and mutual respect.

Collaborate with other departments within the old age home to ensure seamless coordination of services and activities.

**Qualifications**:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and visitors.

A customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the facility.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
