**Job Description**:
Procurement Analyst
- Great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic Procurement team_
Position Purpose:
The Procurement Administrator will drive compliance to Brambles Procure to Pay and Procurement Policies. These will largely be centered around operational support provided to direct and indirect teams. Working with the wider Procure to Pay and Procurement Teams, they will be responsible for administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides support for general administrative tasks as required by the Procurement team
- Responsible for info gathering for New Vendor creation, modification, and extensions
- Gather all required documents required for Procurement and the master data files. e.g., vendor registration documents
- Vendor Maintenance and annual blocking of non - vendors
- Supporting to get signatures for contracts from suppliers and internal stakeholders (Docusign)
- B-BBEE support internal and consultants to and gather data, new certificates and ensure accuracy.
- Assist procurement specialists with Purchase Order Creations and Modifications
- Purchase Order follow ups & expediting with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of direct material
- Ensure supplier deliver and open POs are closed annually
- Lease Tracking and updating (forklifts, compressors, printers, and real estate)
- Procurement systems champion (new users and refresher training)
- UAT Global systems Procurement updates
- Upload contracts into the system - Ensure that documents with expiry dates and those that need to be updated on a regular basis are managed and remain updated
- Manages the invoice query process to ensure accurate and timely supplier payment - Managing queries with Accounts Payable - Investigate and resolve supplier payment queries and problems
- Communicates effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders for efficient issue resolution
- Prepare and manage required reports for Procurement team
- GRNI account reconciliations
- Ensure that the purchase order procedures are followed and adhered to as per the company purchase order SOP/Brambles Procurement policy
- Order Management: - Management of P-2-P transactions;
- Exception management;
- non-catalogue order execution (free text);
- ID of late orders, price & quantity variances
Challenges
- Working across time zones and cultures
- Working under pressure due to high volumes of requests
**Qualifications**:
English essential
Purchasing of Supply Chain Diploma or similar
Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in either a Procurement (Operational) role, or tactical sourcing
Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to work in a visible and fast paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. SAP knowledge desirable.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Purchasing process fundamentals (Purchase to Payment process)
