**SEF Administrator**

** - This position is based in Matatiele, Eastern Cape, South Africa.**
The SEF Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of all SEF-related operational functions at a landscape level and will assist the landscape team with program-related administration. The position reports to the Landscape Operations Coordinator in the Eastern Cape Landscape and assists in the delivery of CSA’s Social Employment Fund Program.
The SEF Program forms part of CSA’s Jobs for Nature Initiative which works towards job creation for youth in South Africa, providing job opportunities, along with training and mentorship related to the green economy.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that data on the Kwantu system is complete, up-to-date, and accurate always.
- Verify data and rectify any errors to ensure that the data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Conduct routine system checks of the data and resolve any inconsistencies or errors promptly.
- Monitor the progress of data entry and provide feedback to the SEF Program Officers as required.
- Coordinate and manage the sharing of data between internal and external stakeholders as and when required.
- Keep an up-to-date record of all data entry processes for future reference.
- Raise the flag on any risks relating to data (including accuracy, missing data, and capturing deadlines) immediately to the Program Officer.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Typical office environment in a rural landscape.
- Travel to landscape program delivery sites may be required.
- This position follows a hybrid work structure, working some days from the office and some remotely. Guidance will be shared during the interview process.
- This role will be a one-year fixed-term assignment, anticipated to begin in November 2024 and end in October 2025.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Required**
- South African Matric certificate.
- Data capturing, data collection, and processing certification or equivalent certification (NQF level 4 or preferably NQF level 5).
- Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Excel MS Word; PowerPoint; Excel; and Outlook Project Administration.
- Passion for, and experience in working with people in rural environments.
- Experience in data input and management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data input capturing, collection, and processing.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Solid Interpersonal skills.
- Organized, with attention to detail.
**Preferred**
- Good knowledge of the Kwantu system.
