**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits, and provide recommendations to improve the safety culture and minimize risk.
- Analyse safety metrics and reports to identify trends, determine root causes of incidents, and develop corrective action plans to prevent re-occurrence.
- Deliver training and coaching to all levels of the organization to promote awareness, knowledge, and understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into all business processes.
- Develop and manage emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, emergency communication protocols, and crisis management protocols.
- Maintain effective relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of incidents and compliance issues.

**Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in OHSAS management in the manufacturing industry.
- Thorough knowledge with safety, security and health and safety procedures.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, including management, hourly employees, and external stakeholders.
- Professional certifications in OHSAS are essential.
