An opportunity has arisen for a professional individual with excellent spreadsheeting, numeracy, remuneration and administration skills.
The role covers the current businesses within Sanlam Investment Group and any other subsidiary that may be acquired.
What will you do?
Remuneration
- Assist with four QBR and HRRC Committees during the year, delivering spreadsheets, analysis and written material accurately and within deadlines.
- Responsible for:

- annual remuneration review
- long term incentive process
- benchmarking of roles annually, on appointment and when required
- ad-hoc increase process.
- Submit data to Remchannel twice per annum, SAVCA survey and any other ad-hoc surveys.
- Engage with Group office on all digital impacts of remuneration processes and policies such as compensation module, approvals and updating of benchmarks etc.
- Manage and report on costs related to remuneration for example survey and licensing budget

Recognition
- Responsible for the Applause recognition system, driving registration, reporting on usage and budget. Deal with any ad-hoc queries related to the Applause system.
- Responsible for SIG recognition programme: responsible for full process for example: driving nominations, Committee meetings, outcomes, award process etc.

What will make you successful in this role?
- Matric
- Post matric qualification beneficial
- Excellent Excel skills essential
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in remuneration and benefits
- GRP qualification
- Understanding of the investment management industry and experience in the asset management industry would be advantageous
