**We are seeking a Senior Manager : Facilities Management for a 5 year FTC based in East London, Eastern Cape.**

**Applicants are required to meet the following criteria**:

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Architecture and a relevant post graduate qualification or professional registration with a relevant built environment professional body.
- At least 8 years relevant experience of which 5 years should be in the built environment or facilities maintenance/management at middle management or senior consultancy level.

**The** successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Execution and management of facilities management function
- Strategy & governance; facilities management; contract management; budget management; customer/stakeholder management; monitoring and reporting; and building a professional team
- Driving / managing functions relating to preventative property maintenance, internal infrastructure operations, installations and maintenance of fixtures and OHS services
- Assessment of facilities condition and determination of required works
- Develop / ensure implementation of maintenance plans
