**HANDYMAN**

**Job Title**:Handyman

**Reports to**:Operation Manager/ Maintenance Manager

**Based at**:Gauteng.

**PURPOSE**:To undertake upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises and keep facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

1. Electrical work
- Carry out minor repairs and services on all electrical equipment and appliances
- Assist the artisan with major repairs and services
- Adhere to security guidelines

2. Plumbing work
- Maintain and care for properties and surrounding areas
- Carry out minor repairs and services on all plumbing-related equipment

3. Basic office tasks
- Perform office movement-related tasks including, but not limited to, installation of furniture, shop fitting, repairing of doors, locks, handles, windows, replacing of ceiling and carpets and carpet tiles, general paint work
- Perform routine inspections of property to check for maintenance problems
- Respond to emergency calls when directed by employer or office staff
- Any other duty, which is deemed necessary, may be added

- Proven experience as handyman
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing systems
- Basic math skills
- Good communication ability
- Well-organized and good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail

**Salary**: R1.00 - R2.00 per month
