Raw Material Storeman

**Deliverables in this Role**:_
- Off load incoming trucks
- Collect finished products from production and store in dispatch area
- Replenish production with semi-finished product at predetermined intervals to secure production continuity
- Receive all raw materials into the Warehouse,
- Receive and manage all packaging material into the Warehouse
- Receive into the Warehouse all semi-finished and finished products from Production
- Responsible for Stock takes, and Daily stock counts
- Issuing of materials
- Stock control administration
- Compliance
- GMP gap rectification
- Physical inspection of all raw materials transferred to other plants to ensure correct items in correct quantity loaded
- Lead physical stock counts at the end of the month -Ensure all stock are organized and ready for counts
- Provide timely and appropriate energetic responses to operations requests for information and assistance
- Matric / Grade 12
- Qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehouse (advantageous)
- Food Safety Certification (advantageous)
- 2-3 Years stock control experience - preferably in a warehouse
- ERP System knowledge
- Background in FMCG industry
- Valid Drivers and Forklift license
- Document control; Computer literacy and Arithmetic skills
- Communication skills - be comfortable to communicate and collaborate with
internal customers
- Leadership skills; Initiative and taking ownership
- Excellent Organisation and spatial reasoning skills
- Decision making and judgement
- Strong analytical and planning skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bellville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
