**Job Description**:

- Conduct regular check on spoilage to analyze and investigate
- Ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with specifications
- Liaise with QA staff on product quality and specs.
- Reject poor quality production and rectify cause
- Evaluate raw material and reject if necessary
- Adherence and improvements on HFI targets
- Produce cans according to production plan / schedule
- Monitor daily production against schedule
- Effective utilization of machines according to standards
- Drive line performance and reduce spoilage
- Monitor and control consumables and production spares budget
- Examine machine parts before replacing with new parts to reduce/ control costs
- Communicate requirements (parts, manpower, services) for planned maintenance
- Report mechanical an electrical problems
- Undertake equipment set-up evaluations when required
- Co-ordinate lubrications of equipment at correct intervals and report weaknesses to Foreman
- Monitor and control consumables and production spares budget

**Job Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Qualified as Can Maker
- Can making Trade Certificate
- Have technical knowledge and experience
- Experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Be able to work under pressure;
- Have the ability to communicate at all levels;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels
- Excellent administration skills with attention to detail
