Engineering firm in Sandton looking to recruit an experienced, Electrical Draughtsman with HV experience. The person must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

**Main job function**
- Should have Clear concept of EHV equipment, structures and Layouts.
- Should be capable for preparing General arrangement drawings.
- Hands on experience on preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram for HV / EHV Sub-stations, LT system etc.
- Preparation of Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/ EHV Sub-stations.
- Preparation of Erection Key Diagram, earthing layout, Lightening Protection Layout.
- Preparation of foundation plan & Cable trench layout.
- Cable schedule and quantity estimation.
- Preparation of Panel arrangement layout.
- Preparation of Lighting layout, Conduit Layout, SLDs. BOM.

**Qualifications**

Grade 12 and relevant qualification

Minimum 4 Years working experience with main focus on HV projects.

Sound working knowledge of packages like, Retic Master, PowerOffice, Bentley MicroStation, DigSilent, MS Projects, Dialux etc.

**Experience/Criteria**

Must have background or extensive knowledge of at least **one** or more of their core focus areas, being:

- HV Substation Design (132/88 kV etc.)
- HV Overhead Lines Design (132/88 kV etc.)
- MV and LV Reticulations Design
- Renewable / Alternative Energy
