Core Description
Oversee and direct the development, design, and quality assurance of solutions in accordance with business processing requirements, operational service level agreements, end to end lead to cash process and Client business requirements in support of achieving Business Unit and Business Area new business and annuity revenue targets. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
Contributing to the Business Unit Network Solutioning Architecture Strategy and Operational Model and ensuring the implementation of the strategy and operational model to achieve the business unit’s objectives and new business and annuity revenue targets.
Accountable for contributing to and executing on the business unit Strategy and implementing the Business Unit and Business Area Engagement and Operating Model to achieve the business unit’s objectives and new business and annuity revenue targets.
Managing and/or overseeing a Network Solutions Architecture Team that produce offerings and solutions that meet the required levels of quality and standards within negotiated and agreed service levels, operational level agreements or contracts whilst following the lead to cash process end to end up to the point of the issuing of the first bill.
Accountable for Continued performance management via weekly cadence and reporting.
Must ensures that time to return proposals to clients is continually improved through tools for automation of repetitive tasks, standard design templates and challenging business areas for rate cards and collateral. This includes administrative tasks such as project files and serials via pre-sales tools. Must maintain and improve OLA to business areas for solution architecture.
Accountable for deploying Business Unit Offerings and Solutions aligned with the Business Unit ICT Strategy. Accountable to provide the respective product development areas with insights and trends related to ICT developments as attained from the interactions with customers and vendors in support of new developing new products and services.
Accountable for developing and presenting winning solution proposals including inter alia solution strategy, architecture and design, and pricing that meets client requirements and aligns with the Business Unit and Business Area ICT Services strategy
Identifying and mitigating Technology, Commercial and Delivery risks in proposed solutions.
Accountable for Target setting, Allocation of clients and deals, ensuring the team is correctly capacitated and that the necessary tools are available.
Engaging with external clients, along with relevant internal stakeholders, to understand and shape client strategy and requirements and subsequently presenting solution proposals to those clients.
Leading or participating in vendor contract negotiations where required.
Providing input to client contract negotiations where required.
Leading or participating in deal qualification or selection processes.
Collaborating with and facilitating efficient engagement between and with the Business Unit stakeholders.
Establish and enhance relationships and network with partners, clients and vendors.
7 years’ experience in solution architecture, of which 2 to 3 years is at a senior management level. Minimum of 7 years ICT offerings solutioning and selling experience in solution architecture.
OR
 If the highest qualification is grade 12, 9 year’s relevant experience of which 4 to 5 years is at a senior management level. Minimum of 7 years ICT offerings solutioning and selling experience in solution architecture Certifications Cisco CCNA and CCDA or equivalent from other OEMs TOGAF / ITIL OEM Networking / ICT Certifications Public cloud Certifications related to networking Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry Level of Engagement & Span of Control
