**IRRIGATION ASSISTANT**

**PAARL**

**Our client, a well-known Golf Estate in Paarl, currently has an exciting vacancy for a dynamic individual, who will form part of the HOA Irrigation team.**

**The responsibilities of the job incumbent include, but are not limited to**: - Plan and schedule irrigation activities - Maintaining bulk water/irrigation infrastructure - Correct usage of machinery and equipment - Ensuring that all tools are well looked after - Communicating accurately and timely to ensure speed of quality services - Ensure that working schedules are adhered to - Maintain records of irrigation working schedules - Responsible for inventory control and accurate timeous record keeping - Respond to requests by the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor - Abide to all health and safety rules.

**The ideal job incumbent must adhere to the following person specifications**: - _Minimum of 5 years recommendedworking experience as an irrigation assistant _- Physically fit - Applicable basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience - Must be familiar with implementation and repairs of irrigation systems (being a hands-on individual would be an advantage) - Working in outdoor conditions - Irregular working hours - _**Must have a valid driver’s license **_- Detail orientated - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Use and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE) recommended - Team player - _**Must reside in the Paarl/Wellington area - Must have own/reliable transport to and from work.**_

**A market related salary is offered.**
