- Sales Support Engineer
**A Snapshot of Your Day**
You will belong to the Sales team dealing withthe turbomachinery fleet from Siemens Energy, and we will train and coach youon the specifics of the job. You will join a diverse and multicultural &multinational team working for the complete Southern and Eastern Africancountries with specific focus in South Africa & Angola.
- Workon Customer Request For Quotation (RFQ) to develop proposal covering:
- Reviewof the RFQ and comment of the Customer’s Technical Specification
- Performingequipment service selections including other drivers and auxiliary systems
- Fullyconfigure and propose optimized solution(s), including sub-suppliers’equipment, cost analysis and price preparation
- Workand coordination with internal Siemens Energy departments as well as externalsuppliers including.
- SiemensEnergy Regional Coordination Group, Operation-based departments, Serviceworkshops around the world and locally as well as the Field Serviceorganization
- Engagementand negotiation with major sub-Suppliers to create mutually beneficial Clientsolutions.
- Completethe Risk Analysis Management process.
- Managementof the LoA process in SalesForce in line with the NCM Guidelines.
- Assistand support the Sales Manager:
- Indriving the Energy transition with early client engagement and technicalsupport to best orientate client and position Siemens Energy full portfolio ofservice offerings.
- Indeveloping Technical and Commercial strategies and directing integration of technicalactivities, products, and services, including vendor suppliedequipment/services in regional proposals.
- Withproject or product presentations, coordinate and participation in clientclarification meetings and discussions
- Energizingsociety is at the centre of all we do. At the heart of most energy systems isour fleet of rotating equipment such as a steam turbine, gas turbines, compressors,or heat pumps. You will be an integral part of increasing reliability &availability, extending the life of the equipment and reducing the total costof ownership for our customers.
- Take the ownership of the whole bid process for Service opportunities and make necessary coordination with other involved parties to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals.
- Coordinate whole proposal process up to the customer Purchase Order using Sales Force and Spiridon/SAP tools.
- Responsible for the bid clarification with customer together with the Client manager.
- Collaborate and drive initiatives as required and to connect with complete transparency to all team members and management, ensuring a key component of the sales process.
- Performs service orders reading and derives actions concerning risks, opportunities, and contractual obligations.
- Regularly performs lessons learned activities and feeds the results into the organization.
- Manage service orders finances: Lives full responsibility for the financial results according to set targets.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
Developing,managing, and delivering support services to the organization's sales forcewith activities such as:
- Processing orders from customers and resolving complaints.
- Advising customers on product shortages, expected delivery dates, price changes, etc.
- Acting as liaison between customers, production, and distribution departments
- Selecting, managing, and utilizing sales related systems & databases (e.g., CRM: customer relationship management systems, SAP, etc.
- Assisting sales teams with individual account and sales territory planning
- Assisting sales teams with sales reporting
- Prepare commercial & technical offers.
- Support sales staff in pre-tender & post-tender phase
- Support sales staff about tender clarifications with the customer
- Preparation of cost estimates and offer calculations.
- Preparation of customer quotations
- Internal coordination with engineering and procurement to ensure timely delivery of offers.
- Ensure all processes are in line with Limits of Authority processes and compliant with regulations and company policies.
- Documentation and quality management of customer offers.
**What You Bring***
- BEng/BSc/BTech/N6 in an engineering field (Preferably mechanical)
- Expert in rotating equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience on rotating equipment or the oil & gas sector.
- Advanced level of English.
- Ability to use Ms-Office tools at an advanced level.
- The ability to understand technical documentation and drawings,
- Analytical thinking, decision making, change orientation and good communication skills.
