Key Outputs
- Create stakeholder communication plans and documents to support the Project Manager and Project Sponsor
- Drive use and adoption of project management tools and templates
- Facilitate meetings and workshops
- Coordinate work stream activities
- Maintain documents, reports, and registers
- Facilitate and perform project control measures
- Manage all project work streams for successful project delivery and escalate risks to the Project Sponsor
- Align cross functional resources including the Customer, Caterpillar, 3rd parties and others as required to accomplish project goals
- Mitigate and manage project scope changes
- Drive stakeholder status communications including actions, issues, decisions, risks and change orders
- Utilise standardized project management processes for planning, control, issue, risk and change management etc
- Assist the pre-sales commercial representative in scoping the potential implementation if possible
- Manage service and support operations within dealer, ensuring technology service is performed at Cat standard speed and quality
- Manage end user customer training for technology
- Co-ordinate spares inventory for TES considering time to serve and obsolescence
- Ensure service department has adequate knowledge and resources to troubleshoot and repair customer technology
- Understand customer goals and constraints
- Provide consulting services to customer on TES products to drive further value for customer
- Understand the overall system support issues that include machine calibration and measure up, system troubleshooting (on-machine and back office) across offerings
- Support training of customers and co-workers on Technology Enabled Solutions
- Basic understanding of survey principles
- Ensure successful adoption of technology within the customer organisation
- Advise customers on planning, development, and execution of business change efforts for effective adoption of technology
- Identify, prepare, plan, implement, sustain the change
- Define current and desired states, transition, and goals
- Manage stakeholders and their resistance to change
- Research organizational and cultural impacts
- Plan and develop change communications and training plans
- Reinforce desired behaviours and practices
- Understand return on investment to support pre-sales and sales process via value articulation

- Provide expert guidance on the use and potential value of technology at customer site and give recommendations on value extraction from technology
- Provide on going value added support to the customers via technology enabled continuous process improvement and technology recommendations
- Conduct site audits and consulting to maximize customer value extraction from technology, define metrics to track customer value realization
- Support BWE personnel in understanding of customer processes and system functionality & benefits
- Understand Industry Specific KPI's showing value of system and projects, drive technology solutions to customer that can improve critical KPIs
- Complete final validation of system before Go-Live, where applicable
- Work with 3rd parties as needed to deliver site-wide TES systems and solutions
- Ensure all projects meet timeline and cost control as per plan
- Conduct site audits and consulting to maximize customer value extraction from technology, define metrics to track customer value realization
- Understand Industry Specific KPI's showing value of system and projects, drive technology solutions to customer that can improve critical KPIs

**Qualification, Experience and Competencies**
- Grade 12
- Project Management diploma/certificate & Mining Engineering Qualification
- 5 years cross discipline experience
- Experience in earthmoving environment
- Understanding of technology systems
- Project process training (e.g. to PMI CAPM, Prince2 Foundations)
- Typically an aspiring or junior Project Manager or senior admin who has good eye for detail and accuracy
- Experience with consulting processes
- Opencast Mining Engineering experience managing productivity
