**LEAD DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE**

Our Lead generation team plays an instrumental role in this success and helps drive growth for the organisation. As a member of this team, you will be responsible to have persuasive telephonic conversations to verify and add critical quality data to our customer relationship management (CRM) database that is stored in Salesforce. This is a prospecting type of role but will not include any actual sales. The Ideal applicants for this role are recent graduates or matriculants (someone that is studying after hours).

Management level of role: This is not a management role

Working environment & travel: Exceptionally busy, team-orientated environment Office based

Working hours: 07h30 to 16h00

Key deliverables
- Maintain and grow the organisations database through telephonic and online research
- Adapt conversations to reach targets with the ability to persuade prospects to provide required information
- Deep and extensive research of prospecting information such as individual names and companies to call from various sources; Google, LinkedIn and supplied lists
- Achieve call and database targets
- Attend and participate in company outings, social events, and team projects
- This is not a sales or customer service role, but you are expected to achieve daily KPIs

Skills, competencies & abilities

- Confident, clear telephonic voice
- Excellent verbal business communication skills - English
- Ability to speak an additional language such as French or Portuguese would be considered an advantage
- Be sharp and think ahead

Education & qualifications
- Matric certificate non-negotiable
- Ideally still studying part time to obtain a degree

Details of experience
- Computer literate
- Experience with a CRM tool, such as Salesforce, would be considered an asset
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn
