**Entity and activity description**
Air Liquide has been supplying industrial gases and services for all Industries, Healthcare, Food and Beverages, and Fabrication in accordance with the top international quality standards in the Southern Africa region for more than 50 years. The HP filler will be sorting, pre-checking and filling Industrial packaged gas products in line with work instructions and promoting safe behavior and adhering to quality and safety standards whilst operating in the Filling Station.

**Missions and Responsibilities**
- Maintaining housekeeping in the facility - Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to Supervisor
- Recording daily filling operations on a Production Record sheet and maintaining adequate stock of gasses and test dates for cylinder repairs
- Adhering to food safety prerequisite programmes (PRPs), SOP's and the food safety management system to meet customer and product specifications of food grade gasses
- Ensuring that scales, pressure gauges, infra-red thermometers are calibrated and verified
- Ensuring empties are moved to empty platforms for filling, in pallets / baskets and the faulty cylinders to be investigated and sent to the repair station once pre-filling checks have been carried out
- Sorting cylinders according to correct gas types, filling of cylinders according to the appropriate gasses and are moved to the correct allocated area for loading
- Adhering to food safety prerequisite programmes (PRPs), SOP' s and the food safety management system to meet customer and product specifications of food grade gasses
- Performing any other ad hoc responsibilities as required by the department.

**Competencies and Profile**
- 0 to 3 years professional experience with Technical / Production knowledge
- CHEMOPS
- Matric Certificate (Physics/Sc/Maths preferably)
- Able to drive a forklift
- Safety awareness and responsibility
- Fair Knowledge of gases or gas properties is desirable
