**POSITION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT**

**LOCATION: PHOENIX**

A large Durban based retail company is seeking an Assistant Accountant that is vibrant and prides themselves with honesty and strong values to join their group. The Assistant Accountant ideally will serve as the right hand to the Group Financial Manager.

**KEY RESPONSBILITIES**
- Provide Group reports adhering to deadlines.
- Keeping up-to-date with financial policies, practices and regulations.
- Assist financial manager in day-to-day duties.
- Assist HR in checking the payroll monthly
- Ensure online banking payments are loaded timeously for the group.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of accounting systems
- MS Office Applications
- Industry-specific knowledge
