**Sales Associate**:
Alysu is more than a fashion brand. It is an aesthetic destination that tests limits to accomplish a confident & fashionable lifestyle.

We are looking for someone inspired to become the face of Alysu, by engaging with customers and making them feel comfortable enough to explore our clothing and enjoy the aesthetic atmosphere in-store and in our café.

As an Alysu Associate you are the public face of our brand and thus responsible for customer satisfaction; ensuring that customers are faced with a warm welcome on arrival and able to assist with any and all queries about the brand, products and services Alysu has to offer.

Our sales associate is expected to continuously update their knowledge of the brands products, services and policies. Complaint handling is a critical part of this position; turning a frustrated customer into a happy customer while adhering to company policies, this requires a combination of empathy and tact. Another key responsibility is maintaining a clean and orderly presentation of the sales floor, café, kitchen area, back stockroom as well as merchandise, signage and displays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting customers, responding to customers questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service
- Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions and CRM (Customer
Relationship Management)
- Achieving established goals and targets for the store
- Directing customers to merchandise within the store
- Maintaining a clean and organized store-front, café, kitchen area and stockroom
- Increasing sales and brand awareness
- Superior product knowledge
- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts
- Maintaining an orderly/professional personal appearance

**Requirements & Skills**:

- Proven retail (or service industry) sales experience - preferably 2+ years
- Self-motivated
- Friendly and strong commitment to customer service
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (standard retail hours)
- Basic math and accounting skills
- Experience operating a cash register
- Experience operating point-of-sale (POS) transactions and CRM
- Critical thinking, evaluation and analytical skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: R5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
