A well-established Electrical contracting company based in Southern Suburbs is looking for an Installation Electrician (Wireman's Licence) to join our Maintenace team.

**Experience**
- Grade 12 or Equivalent Certification (NQF Level 4)
- No Criminal record
- Valid driver's license
- Completed electrician apprenticeship (Qualified Electrician)
- **At least 3 years experience working as an Installation Electrician (Wireman’s Licence
- Installation Electrician Card)**:

- **Full understanding of SANS 10142-1 (Wiring of Premises) single phase and three phase**:

- Experience in Alternative supplies (Generators, Inverters & UPS) will be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Maintenance work
- Computer skills (Excel)
- Install socket outlet circuits, lighting circuits, and air-conditioning circuits
- Installing of socket outlet, lighting point, and air-conditioning isolator
- Installing distribution boards, circuit breakers, and termination of circuits
- Inspecting & Testing of existing and new electrical installation to ensure compliance with SANS 10142-1
- Supply inspection report to management and site foreman
- Understanding and reading electrical drawings
- Supply a Certificate of Compliance to the council
- Supply a Certificate of Compliance after the construction phase of the project
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and ceilings to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring
- Installation of PVC & Bosal conduit inside of walls, partitioning, and surface mount
- Assist with emergencies/call outs
- Understanding and reading Electrical drawings
- Perform general electrical maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
