"TRS has an exciting opportunity for a fluent English & French speaking MARINE ADVISOR to join our leading International Client's Project team located in Ci-Aidjan Immeuble Baini, Abidjan, IVORY COAST."
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- Ensuring all marine operation are conducted to the highest standards in line with the Client’s LOGISTICS HQ marine requirements, National & International Legislation, and Industry.
- Preparing the technical specification for tenders and perform the technical evaluation of the proposed vessels with the support/validation of LOGIS HQ.
- Providing technical support to the local contractual administration role ensuring at the same time insurance coverage for GU marine assets, owned and chartered.
- Performing Marine KPI Analysis.
- Monitoring and checking the integrity of the entire export system equipment for preventing any environmental incidents
- Planning and carrying out Company’s periodical inspections and technical audits of vessels to ensure that they are being operated at the highest standards.
- Planning and participating in a Global Marine Forum with all Eni marine advisors to discuss relevant topics.
**QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:
- Accredited Degree in Marine Engineering or related function.
- Fluent in French and English (Non-negotiable)
- Previous offshore experience or on sea-going tankers.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Marine Advisor role.
- Must have Oil & Gas Industry experience.
- Must have STCW Code II Certification
