We are looking for a competent, dynamic, friendly restaurant general manager/operator to join the team and head up a store.
- Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly restaurant management operations
- Deliver superior food and beverage service, maximizing customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently, accurately and politely to customer feedback (good or bad)
- Understand extensive inventory management in a restaurant setting
- Be proficient in a restaurant point of sale system (preferably GAAP)
- Lead by example and uplift staff morale and efficiencies at all times.
- Adhere to and maintain thorough checklists and franchise systems in both the front and back of house restaurant environments
- Have strong restaurant-orientated cost control skills (including a strong emphasis on food cost control and wage cost control)
- Have an understanding of P&L reporting, restaurant-related financial management
- Have strong people management skills, including the appointment of strong team members with a vision to create a strong, proficient team.
- Have strong disciplinary knowledge and experience, proficient in disciplinary codes and basic conditions of employment
- Have strong team management skills, including problem-solving, innovative rostering, and efficient time-management skills.
- Independent attitude to running a restaurant operation as a business, while adhering to franchise guidelines and systems.
- Proven work experience as either a strong senior or general restaurant manager in a similar environment
- Experience with point of sale systems (preferably GAAP), with proficient knowledge of back-of-house systems like stocktakes, inventory control, stock-ordering knowledge and reporting systems within the POS.
