**Job Summary**:
The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for protecting the organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats. This role involves implementing security measures, monitoring for security breaches, and responding to incidents. The specialist will work closely with the IT team to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Security Monitoring**: Continuously monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
- **Incident Response**: Respond to security breaches and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- **Risk Assessment**: Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
- **Security Policies**: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Training**: Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote best practices in cyber security.
- **System Updates**: Ensure all systems and software are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of security incidents, actions taken, and outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security or a related field.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of network protocols and security technologies.
- Proficiency in using security tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with cloud security and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
