**Warehouse & Procurement Supervisor**

**Working Environment: Mining Industry**

**Report directly to the Procurement Manager/ District/ Warehouse Manager Manager**

**Responsibilities**
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
- Efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods including, but not limited to materials, tools, machinery, auto fleet, PPE and clothing, while implementing measures to increase the company's effectiveness and efficiency.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain, distribute, and deliver warehouse supplies and equipment.Deliver inter-department mail.
- Distributes materials as needed.
- Assists with set-up preparation for meetings within the district.
- Assists Procurement & Warehouse District with purchasing.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Manage a team of Warehouse Assistants, General Workers, Logistic Assistants and Stock & Dispatch Controllers at the Warehouse

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Degree/ National Diploma in Business Administration/ Business Development or any relevant qualification to the field of Procurement
- Matric
- Any additional Courses/ Certificates would be beneficial within the field of Procurement
- An additional Mining qualification would be to your advantage.

**NON-NEGOTIABLE EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience within the Mining Industry
- Minimum 5 years experience within Procurement
- Minimum 2 years experience within a Warehouse Industry - Mining Related (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Supervisory level

**MATHMATICAL SKILLS**:
The employee must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Application of percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations is required.

**OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
Valid Drivers License

Medically Fit

Proof of previous medical entry and exit
