The Demand planner will be responsible for demand planning of all products in both Dr Oetker and Chateaux Gateaux. We are searching for a talented demand planner to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAIL
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Address demand related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct Pre build and Build Meetings effectively
- Collaboration with key stakeholders and effective communication
- Data Analytics
- Collaboration with third party distribution network understanding the volume impact out of Vector and tracking
- Forecast Accuracy and Bias
- Potential elements of production planning may be included
- Develop operational reports and run reports to support measurement of key performance indicators. Prepare
- exception based reporting and drive implementation of business improvement ideas
- Create effective data visualizations to communicate insights
- Generate regular reports on operational performance and provide insights / recommendations to the business
- Validate existing reports and data sets and resolves issues with reports and performance indicators as identified.
- **Detail orientated** You must constantly strive to maintain accuracy with the
- information you collect and process. Great attention to detail.
- **Exceptional interpersonal skills **You must be able to communicate and coordinate with various people across the organization. You must possess good communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

- **Organized** Maintaining a culture of organization particularly to ensure the PS&OP process is followed.

**Preferred Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or similar.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Anaplan is beneficial
- Strong understanding of PS&OP process

**Salary**: R30 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
