**Job Summary**

We're looking for an experienced, part-time lecturer to teach a class in the Advanced Diploma in User Centered Design (UCD) three times a week - Tuesday & Thursday Evenings & Saturday Morning.
- The theories and principles of User-Centered Design, from the basics to business innovation, using research methodologies, design tools, user research theory and narrative techniques.
- Workplace learning and practical simulations, including service design.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Prepare and lecture classes, facilitate workshops and presentations
- Assessment of the projects, including the preparation of assessment tools.
- Ensure all lectures, briefs and other classwork are on Moodle - and manage the component on Moodle.
- Liaise closely with the Programme Lead and programme coordinator.
- Deliver a premium student experience.
- Lecture in accordance with the requirements of the programme outcomes and in accordance with the accredited programme outlines
- Adhere to centralised policies and procedures that ensure outstanding quality and unquestionable integrity of all academic programmes that are offered
- Assist with relevant hosted marketing events such as open days

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Honours degree (NQF8) in a UCD related field (NON NEGOTIABLE)
- Excellent knowledge of the theory related to UCD.
- Professional writing experience - script, content, copy, journalism etc.
- Minimum 2 years teaching / tutoring experience
