**Qualifications**: Minimum Grade 10

**Experience**: One (1) year’ relevant bricklaying experience required

**Requirements**:Proficiency in at least two (2) of the official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans/English/Xhosa
- Read, Write, Speak)

High level of responsibility Ability to give attention to detail Good supervision, human relations, interpersonal and communication skills

Required to work in all weather conditions Must be prepared to enter confined areas such as manholes, inlets, pipes and culverts Must

be physically fit and able bodies Required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime Must perform

duties in the whole area of the municipality when required

**Job Purpose**: Co-ordinates and controls the set-up, work in progress and completion of specialized tasks/activities associated with

bricklaying, including, monitoring and correcting the productivity and performance output of support personnel and attending to

routine/general administrative recoding requirements contributing to the accomplishment of departmental objective.

**Key Performance Areas**:Undertakes general labouring tasks at building operations, storm-water, sewerage and road infrastructure
maintenance Completes internal transactional documentation (time sheets, progress and productivity field report, etc.) and related forms Supervises and controls the rendering of Civil Services with regard to the operations and maintenance Attends to the storage and care of
cleaning tools/equipment Responsible for Health and Safety compliance with statutory regulations during tasks which include protocols and
procedures in order to minimise any accidents, injuries and to maintain a healthy and safe working environment Responsible to part take
in the Municipality’s Performance Management and Development System

Municipal Staff Regulations Government Notice R890 as promulgated in Government Gazette 45181 dated 20 September 2021 and
