Marketing & Events Assistant

**Job Purpose**
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Business Development Manager by planning all activities and timelines, and ensuring production and delivery of marketing content, plans and projects, takes place accordingly. The key measure of success is the development and delivery of marketing materials on time and according to schedule.
**1.Marketing & Communications**
- Support the Marketing and Business Development Manager in the implementation of marketing strategies, projects, and national campaigns.
- Track and monitor the progress of marketing tasks and projects, and provide weekly reporting
- Assist with content creation of internal and external communications (firm updates, invitations, newsletters, reports, etc.)
- Support the improvement of marketing and communications processes and execute communication to the entire organisation (update on internal marketing tools, brand guidelines and marketing policies, intranet, branded collateral order processes, brochures, playbooks, etc.)
- Understands branding and CI guidelines for ordering branded collateral
- Working with in-house design studio for marketing campaign assets, brochures, articles, etc to implement marketing projects and daily tasks.
- Preparing, formatting and editing a range of marketing and service line documents (brochures, playbooks, leaflets, reports, presentations, etc)
- Provide market research, competitor analyses, campaign and market trends to increase business engagement.
- Weekly reporting on internal and external campaigns and other related tasks
- Support the digital marketing specialist with content for digital platforms
- Liaise with marketing service providers, obtain quotes and manage workflow, where required
- Assist in campaign conceptualization with the MBD Manager
- Provide operational support in order to gain knowledge and workplace experience.
- Provide support to various departments and staff to execute marketing plans. Eg: Graduate induction
- Manage the monthly marketing project plan
- Liaise with finance for Pos and processing of supplier invoices
- Relationship management and engagement with GTI’s brand and marketing team
**2. Event Management**
- Planning and organizing company's events, exhibitions and webinars.
- Research events to boost the brand and service lines for client leads.
- Maintain a working relationship with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
- Manage promotional collateral for event and exhibitions.
- Maintain and audit client database for marketing purposes.
- Track marketing inventory and to seek ways of reducing costs, and efficient usage of resources/ collateral
**3. Stakeholder Management**
- Building and maintaining reciprocal relationships with stakeholders across the firm and Globally.
- Introduce innovate marketing ideas and concepts that align to firm’s global strategy to promote different service lines externally.
- Contribute to the development of employee marketing strategies and internal campaigns on behalf of stakeholders
**4. General**
- Attending to any marketing department queries / admin tasks
- Keeping a filing system of all po’s and artworks
- Ensuring that documents are filed correctly on the marketing drive are updated
- Assist marketing leadership team in day-to-day coordination of marketing operational activities, including by not limited to process and projects planning.
**Qualification**
Marketing Diploma or Degree
**Experience**
Minimum 3 years experience
Advanced use of Microsoft Office 365
