**Job description**

**Minimum Qualification Required**
- Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
- RE and FAIS accredited
- Tertiary qualifications will be beneficial

**Minimum Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years’ in short-term insurance experience
- 5-year portfolio management experience or similar
- Minimum of 5 years’ broker distribution experience with a proven track record
- Must have existing broker relationships
- Must have a proven track record of managing broker consultants or sales staff.
- Commercial and Personal Lines insurance experience is essential

**Deliverables include, but will not be limited to**
- Grow market share amongst short term insurance brokers with personal lines and commercial insurance products.
- Identify growth opportunities outside of scope.
- Optimise existing broker relationships
- Ensure that compliance related requirements are adhered to

**Competencies Required**
- Must be highly proficient in dealing with brokers at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good people management skills
- Must be able to provide innovative business development ideas.
- Self-motivated, inspire others
- Self-Driven with a desire to excel
- Problem solving skills and solution oriented
- Must be flexible to travel on a national basis from time to time.
- Ability to multi-task and cope with pressure
- Performance management experience
- Commitment to personal and team goals
- Professionalism
- Must be able to manage themselves and other remotely.
- Provide technical guidance to team members
