Cdc Manager

Clover is looking to appoint a passionate CDC / DC Manager at their Polokwane branch. Your passion for people and your experience, Knowledge in FMCG as a DC Manager would be greatly beneficial in making you successful in this role. The successful individual will manage and optimise CDC and DC functions and activities.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**REQUIREMENTS**:

- National Diploma.
- Business English: Fluent.
- Experience in working with senior management.
- Solid track record in managing warehouse functions and distribution functions in FMCG environment.
- Full understanding of customer order and reconciliation process.
- Willing to work holidays and weekends.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Manage the warehouse & distribution operations**:

- Optimise warehouse capacity utilisation.
- Improve warehouse efficiencies.
- Ensure critical controls are in place.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are applied correctly.
- Ensure systems are in place to execute functions relating to maintenance, safety, and security etc.
- Control key aspects and take corrective action where necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement principles.
- Improve route planning and nominated delivery days.
- Drive delivery costs down.
- Minimize overtime.

**Manage fixed and variable cost**:

- Compile budget and report deviations.
- Plan for resource demands.
- Do peak planning.
- Manage stock breakages and losses.

**Manage the WMS**:

- Ensure the availability of the system.
- Maintain sound administration principles.

**Manage CDC/DC staff**:

- Ensure optimal utilisation of staff.
- Train and develop staff.
- Conduct warehouse meetings and ensure effective communication to all.
- Liaise and communicate with management in all departments.
- Set objectives, manage, and measure performance of subordinates.
