**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation and Handling: Efficiently prepare and handle meat casings, ensuring they are cleaned, salted, and stored according to industry standards and company protocols.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of meat casings to identify any defects or quality issues, ensuring only the best quality casings are used in production.
- Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machinery used in the preparation and processing of meat casings, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of casing inventory, including quantities processed, stored, and shipped, to ensure supply levels meet production demands.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all relevant sanitation, health, and safety regulations to prevent contamination and ensure workplace safety.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless production process, promptly addressing any issues that may arise.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks with precision and care, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Manual Dexterity: Skilled in handling small and delicate materials, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and handling the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and problem-solving skills to address any issues with machinery or product quality.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and management.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in food safety or processing is a plus.
- Certifications: Food Handler’s Certificate or the ability to obtain one upon hire would be a plus.
- Availability: Willingness to work in a cold environment and availability for shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
