Safire Insurance Company Limited is running an exciting new 12 month Internship program. We are looking for a Data Analyst, Risk support officer, Underwriters, Claims Handlers, Finance staff and an HR administrator to join the Internship program. If you meet the requirements, please send a copy of your ID, CV, matric/grade 12, tertiary qualification and Statement of results.

The following are essential for this Internship.

**Data Analyst**
- Grade 12 / Matric (mathematics/maths literacy is a requirement).Related tertiary qualification.
- Min. 3 years in a Data Analyst or related role.
- Related tertiary qualification (mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, data analytics or computer science).
- Advanced / super user experience with Excel (perform complex functioning, exposure to power pivots and power query).

**Risk support officer**
- Matric/Grade 12.
- Related tertiary qualification (a must).
- Working knowledge of statutory and legislative requirements.
- Short-term insurance industry experience (advantageous).
- Working knowledge of statutory and legislative requirements.

**Underwriter**
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Full qualification in short-term insurance (a must).
- FAIS Regulatory Examination (RE1 and RE5) (advantageous).
- Registered with FSCA as a Representative and Key Individual (advantageous).
- Adherence to the FSCA Fit and Proper requirements.
- Min 3 years experience as an Underwriter in short-term insurance.
- Experience with reinsurance and co-insurance (advantageous).

**Claims Handler**
- Matric / Grade 12 (Accounting and Maths) is a requirement.
- Full qualification in short-term insurance (a must).
- FAIS Regulatory Examination (RE1 and RE5) (advantageous).
- Registered with FSCA as a Representative and Key Individual (advantageous).
- Adherence to the FSCA Fit and Proper requirements.

**Finance**
- Matric/Grade 12.
- Formal tertiary qualification in accounting.
- Knowledge of SAGE Evolution would be advantageous.

**HR Administrator**
- Matric/Grade 12.
- A tertiary qualification (Business Administration, HR, or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 (preferably) with excellent Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- General knowledge of a payroll program (Sage 300 preferably).
