**Post description**:

- Facilitator - Welding.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Trade Certificate in Welding;
- Minimum 3 years industry experience;
- NAMB registered as a trade testing official an added advantage;
- Training/ Facilitation Skills;
- Assessor and Moderator with NAMB/SETA an added advantage
- POE development and learning evidence collection skills.

**Duties**:

- Planning, facilitation and administering training processes;
- Providing training to apprentices according to training schedule;
- Facilitate welding skills training to unemployed youth of varied ability;
- Manage simulated workshop environment;
- Implement and facilitate on-going training in line with industry and NQF standards;
- Prepare, review and administer assessments;
- Administer training registers and practical simulated exposure;
- Compile exit level projects and monthly reports;
- Collect and review portfolios of learning evidence (POE);
- Design, monitor and deliver on the implementation plan;
- Provide learners with an understanding of the Electrical Industry they will be pursuing a career in;
- Management of workshop tools and equipment, procurement and safekeeping;
- Conduct risk assessment, investigate and report incidents;
- Site visits to companies where learners are placed and completion of monitoring reports.

- Be friendly, approachable and professional with team ethics;
- Be able to relate knowledge to everyday situations in a practical way;
- Computer Literate;
- Be versatile in your delivery and have innovative ways to deliver to varied groups of learners.

**Nature of appointment**:

- Contract (3 Years).

**Salary**:

- R 221 355 per annum.
- 31 March 2023 (Friday) at 13:00.
