**Introduction**:
The individual is responsible for managing the preparation of detailed technical drawings using the applicable software.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Produce accurate drawings for the workshop

Completer accurate bill of materials for all jobs

Supervise, plan, control and co-ordinate functions of drawing office

Timeous release of job cards, programs and drawing packs

Ensure plans and drawings as well as job cards are of optimum quality and accuracy

Communication with customers and site visits are necessary

Data storage and management

Design reviews

**Desired Experience**:
Very energetic person, who is prepared to draw and supervise

Must be technically inclined and able to use drawing software and programming

Extremely meticulous and efficient in drawing

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

**Responsibilities**:
Analysing documents and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.

Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product.

Preparing material and cost estimates.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clientele.

Compiling and recording actual costs.

Understanding the project/ program and its requirements.

**Skills**:Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Report writing and strategic planning skills.

Expertise with analytical tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
