Clinical Facilitator

The following position is available at Melomed Gatesville:
**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Professional Nursing Qualification (Registered with SANC)
- Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the SANC
- Nursing Education and/or Assessorship qualification as a recommendation
- Previous experience as an educator / facilitator / mentor would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects
- An established interest in staff development
- A critical aptitude with regard to patient quality care
- Excellent MS Office computer skills, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Kronos, etc.
- Own transport
- Occasional night duty

**Key Outputs**:

- Assess staff competence according to company standards
- Plan, prepare, implement, and manage the education and training requirements
- Support and facilitate staff and students to reach specific learning objectives
- Incorporate standard technology aids/tools to enhance the learning experience and to up skill learners in the use of medical equipment
- Assist with the review of all Nursing documentation as and when requested
- Implement and maintain the standard patient documentation
- Seek to create opportunities for identifying and leveraging high potential learners by setting challenging learning channels
- Take corrective measures to improve skills
