Ec&i Supervisor

A **_12-month Fixed Term Contract (Jan-Dec 2023)_ **is available for a _pro-active_ **_Electrical Control & Instrumentation Construction and Commissioning Supervisor_**_ _**with Proven work experience as an _Electrical Supervisor_ for _Medium Voltage_ installation and Strong leadership and managerial skills.

The appointed supervisor needs to be the _actively involved_ and the very “hands on” leadership type. He will report directly to the Project Manager onsite - and will be responsible for the supervision of sub-contractors onsite - managing the electrical, control and instrumentation installation and commissioning of Medium Voltage Pumping Stations.

**SUMMARY OF ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage the EC&I installation & commissioning of Medium Voltage Pumping Stations.
- Ensure that the EC&I installation of the Pump Station upgrade is completed according to the client’s project specifications, in line with the schedule, and in accordance with HSE rules of the project.
- Organise and execute the EC&I pre-commissioning and commissioning checks and tests
- Read and interpret design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems
- Coordinate and follow-up site activities related to EC&I that are under the companies scope in accordance with the schedule defined by the Project Manager.
- Liaise with the client and maintain good relations at all times
- Oversee the sub-contractors and suppliers on site
- Ensure quality control of critical activities.
- Keep accurate records of site work and installation progress, in particular with regards to man hours spent by the EC&I subcontractor and quantities installed.
- Organise internal inspections with EC&I subcontractors
- Organise external inspections with Client or his representative
- Ensure proper inspection documentation is quickly issued afterwards and dispatched.
- Ensure the company’s and EC&I sub-contactors’ compliance with Health & Safety requirements
- Update the project manager and the EC&I Engineer on a regular basis as to progress on site
- Maintain sound housekeeping principles and due care of all equipment/assets under your control/care.
- Raise to the project manager and the EC&I Engineer any event/reason for claiming Extension of Time
- Ensure impeccable housekeeping
- Manage expenses with consideration to the company.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCE**:

- Qualified Electrical Supervisor including the Medium Voltage field
- Proven work experience as an Electrical Supervisor for Medium Voltage installation
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate in relevant software
- Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner
- Ability to Perform all duties to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standard Requirements.
- Ability to function as part of a Team.
