F&b Head Waiter

A highly experienced Food & Beverage Head Waiter is sought for this exclusive, private Guest Residence and Conference Centre. The position will be for a Fixed Term period of 4 months, starting in December 2023.

**Requirements**:

- SA Citizen
- Grade 12 qualification
- Qualification in Hotel Management, specializing in F&B highly advantageous
- At least 5 years of previous experience (in food & beverage) within the hospitality industry, which should ideally include service in a boutique-style hotel or private residence.
- Professional in approach, discreet in guest service and anticipating guests' needs
- Extensive knowledge of food service, wines, spirits & cigars
- Highly service-driven with a hands-on approach taking responsibility for Food & Beverage service
- Acute attention to detail
- Sound planning and organizational skills pertaining to guests' needs and requirements
- Very well presented and groomed
- ** Reside in the surrounding areas of Stellenbosch, Somerset West or Macassar**:

- Fluent in English & Afrikaans
- Work shifts during the week & weekends
- Own transport essential
