**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12 will be an advantage
Qualified Electrician
2 years experience as a Electrician will be essential
Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, equipment materials and tools of the electric trade, including use and care of trade tools and equipment
Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work
In-depth knowledge of the national Electrical Code for electrical installations
Ability to communicate and coordinate with supervisors, subordinates, vendors and personnel
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting systems
Interpret and work from instructions, penciled plans, sketches and blueprints
Performing general electrical maintenance
Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers and other electrical components
