Dsc Transport Coordinator

**Job Purpose**:
To Manage and control on agreed level of performance and to contribute to the continuous improvement of training proceses.to coordinate functions in order to maximize utilization, productivity and ensuring that services are delivered on time and accurately

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Provide day to day T&D Support and advise to employees, line managers, HR Colleagues, and external suppliers
- Allocate Administrative tasks to address immediate T&D topics, e.g Course Bookings, training records, queries
- Understand administrative tasks to address immediate T&D processes, methods and tools including metrics, standard and policies
- Support BEE and EE initiative to improve BEE and EE targets
- Training administration, program booking, event management, participation liaison, training effectiveness metrics and training
- Ensure training registers are completed and filed correctly
- Report on monthly training according to standards and expectations
- Develops and keeps and organized library of training manuals
- Coordinate internal and external training with internal and external training providers
- Report to Seta on training within the time frames
- Compile/create training policies and procedures
- Develop and orientation programs with the line manager for newly appointed staff
- Assist and coordinate in the induction of new appointments
- Compile and coordinate training certificates as required
- Perform any other duties in line with Job Spec as directed by Line Manager/Senior Managers

**Qualifications, Experience & Attributes**:

- Matric (Grade12)
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage
- 1-year related working experience
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal and planning skills
- Ability to read; understand and follow directions and instructions
- Attention to details
- Person should be able to enforce health and safety procedures and identify hazards
