**Christopher Group is looking for a Solicitor to join their team**

**Title: UK Solicitor**

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with clients, defendants, the Court, third parties, and medical agencies via
- Draft technical letters of advice/instructions to clients, experts, and third parties.
- Prepare standard and technical witness statements.
- Correspond with Defendants and the Courts.
- Maintain clear and accurate notes of all communication on our case management
- system.
- Log time worked on all files and ensure excellent time utilization.
- Proactively progress files in accordance with the Pre-action Protocol and post-issue of
- proceedings.
- Conduct litigation efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with After the Event (ATE) insurers regarding cover, duties, and exclusions.
- Compile evidence to support liability and quantum investigations.
- Draft schedules of loss and witness statements.
- Negotiate settlements skillfully to conclusion.
- Provide mentorship, supervision, and support to junior staff.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Qualified Solicitor with 3 years of experience in litigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong drafting and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently.
- Proficiency in legal case management systems.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and settlement.
- Experience in mentoring and supervising junior staff is desirable.
