Kitchen Hand

**Position: Kitchen Hand**

Casual
- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with basic food cooking and plating tasks under the guidance of the chef.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
- Help with inventory management by stocking and rotating ingredients and supplies.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper storage procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely food production.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
