**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and test GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles, ensuring proper placement and secure connections
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with installed tracking devices, including diagnosing hardware and software issues
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any installation-related issues promptly and professionally
- Work closely with the sales and technical support teams to ensure seamless coordination and efficient completion of installation projects
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and client information
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in vehicle tracking technology, installation techniques, and industry best practices
- Adhere to company safety guidelines and local regulations when working on-site with clients

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Auto Electrician certification or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in vehicle electronics installation, preferably with GSM/GPS tracking devices
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
- Valid driver’s license essential
- Clear criminal record (mandatory).
- Few faults and repairs

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

- Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
