Pallet Intake Supervisor

**PALLET INTAKE SUPERVISOR**

We are looking for a self-disciplined, independent individual who is focused on producing high quality, detailed work within a team environment. Reporting to the **Packing Manager**, the Pallet Intake Supervisor will be based at** Valley **packing operation**,** part of our **Packing Division, **in the **Grabouw** area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor palletising of all packed cartons according to specifications.
- Ensure accurate intake of cartons/pallets on Vitrax stock system.
- Coordinate PPECB inspections for all export pallets.
- Writing and maintaining batch balancing report.
- Manage all the uncompleted pallets and rejected stock as well as repacking.
- Ensure compliance to food safety procedures and standards, including BRC and HACCP.
- Supervise a team of 10 including scanners, inspection assistants, forklift driver and data clerk.
- Ensuring pallet cold chain is maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- 1 - 2 Years’ relevant Fruit Industry experience
- Leadership ability or proven experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain complete and accurate records
- Good communication and computer skills
- Experience and knowledge of Vitrax and storage protocols will be advantageous
- Experience with Titan will be advantageous
- Willing to work overtime
