**Job Context**:
**SERVEST SECURITY, A DIVISION OF SERVEST HAS A VACANCY FOR A REGIONAL DIRECTOR GAUTENG- REPORTING TO THE NATIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR. MUST BE PSIRA GRADE A WITH A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN BRANCH MANAGEMENT.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (compulsory)
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Emergency Management or management discipline (advantageous)
- Must be in possession of a Grade A PSIRA
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a branch management role or 8 years at management level in the services sector.
- Valid unendorsed driving license - will be required to travel frequently on a regional basis.
- Excellent management and leadership skills at branch level (planning, leading, organising & controlling).
- Proven track record of client retention and achieving solid growth in previously managed operations.
- Financial management (analysis of performance reports and management accounts to income statement level).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of being able to achieve results through your team.
- Problem solving ability with an executive maturity at corporate client liaison level.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement an operations strategy aligned with business divisions objectives and budgets for your branches.
- Assist branches with the achievement of annual budgets and lead the presentation of the operations components to the National Operations Director.
- Ensure that all branches operate within budget and achieve financial targets with regard to profitability.
- Point of escalation for management of worker and customer complaints and liaison with media team as required.
- Deliver oversight of security prevention, risk assessment, prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities, particular insecure environments and to counter threats emerging from changes situations.
- Provide support to regional team on incident case management, investigations and provision of after-action reviews, lessons learned exercises and conduct security investigations for complex and serious cases.
- Manage and give guidance on security recruitment in the region and provide leadership and development opportunities to security teams.
- Analyse financial, sales and activity reports and initiate remedial action to address any problems.
- Manage costs and efficiency improvement projects within the allocated branches.
- Report on branch operational performance to the National Operations Director.
- Assist with sales of new business opportunities.
- Build close relationships with all internal divisional directors, key clients and suppliers.
- Ensure that your branches adopt and implement world class standards of service delivery and best operating practices.
- Investigate client cancellations and take corrective action in every instance.
- Manage the performance and development of direct reports making sure that superior performance is appropriately recognised.
- Drive the implementation of BBBEE plans and commitments in the branches.
- Enforce universal commitment to a safe and healthy working environment.
- Ensure compliance of branches with statutory and company policy requirements in their day-to-day operational activities.
- Customer reviews ensuring appropriate levels of service delivery, maximisation of opportunity for growth within contracts.
- Deliver KPI’s for the Region as required by the business plan including management of attrition, utilisation and engagement of workforce, performance against budget etc.
- Deployment of price increase schedule across Region.
- Manage performance of contingent labour suppliers across the Region in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions, quality and compliance standards.
- Build effective relationships internally, ensuring all key stakeholders have the relevant input and information as required to deliver requirements into the business i.e. HR, Compliance.
